Sri Lanka Sumithrayo supports the Mothers Home established at the LRH Paediatric Heart Beat Unit where mothers of infants and babies who are undergoing heart surgery and other procedures are allowed to stay over until their kids are healed and discharged. The home is built free by the SL Navy and managed by a Matroj=n hired and paid by them. The facility requires daily supplies of tea, coffee, sugar, water, leaning material, and other domestic utility needs in order to make the Mothers stay comfortable since they hail from far away places in the island. The fathers are housed in the nearby Mosque, Church, Temple, and Kovil.
