4. Elders Home Rawathawatte

 Wed Aug 10, 2022: 4 Sahans (1 Sahan feeds 8 people) of KIDU Rice and curry to be delivered to the Rawathawatte Home for the Aged at Noon for lunch for the 30 people resident there. We have contracted Gigi Foods in Kollupitiya who have agreed to deliver the food free of charge to Ratmalana. Cost: Rs 14,900 (4 Sahans @Rs 4,725 each) - Paid by Maz today, Tuesday Aug 2, 2022. FS will coordinate the delivery, acknowledgement and post the pix here on the 10th ~Delivered successfully. Thanks to all those who lent a hand to make this a valuable contribution. 5. SLS Mothers Home

Sri Lanka Sumithrayo supports the Mothers Home established at the LRH Paediatric Heart Beat Unit where mothers of infants and babies who are undergoing heart surgery and other procedures are allowed to stay over until their kids are healed and discharged. The home is built free by the SL Navy and managed by a Matroj=n hired and paid by them. The facility requires daily supplies of tea, coffee, sugar, water,  leaning material, and other domestic utility needs in order to make the Mothers stay comfortable since they hail from far away places in the island. The fathers are housed in the nearby Mosque, Church, Temple, and Kovil. Rs 50,000 paid to SLS today for the Mothers Home Supplies - coordinated by FS/MF Pix of the supplies will be posted on receipt from SLS Bank Transfer Receipt SLS Acknowledgement Two clothes cupboards delivered to the LRH Mothers Home ladies by Sri Lanka Sumithrayo, to make their life easy..
